No more RNFC and TNLC under Krishi Udan Scheme 2.0

This article is a quick update on Krishi Udan Scheme 2.0. In an endeavor to facilitate and incentivize the movements of Agri-produce and promote the Krishi Udan Scheme 2.0 the Aviation Minister nullified the parking, landing, and navigation charges as in the Terminal Navigation Landing Charges (TNLC), and Route Navigation Facility Charges (RNFC) at 21 domestic airports operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). These new rules are applicable only for cargo aircraft- the Indian freighters and P2C (Passenger-to-Cargo) aircraft.
These airports would include Agartala, Dehradun, Dibrugarh, Dimapur, Ranchi, Shimla, and many more.
On the 27th of October, 2021 the Krishi Udaan Scheme 2.0 (a convergence scheme of eight ministries Ministries/Departments namely the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Department of Agriculture & Farmers` Welfare, Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying, Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Ministry of Development of North-Eastern Region (DoNER)) was announced to enhance existing provisions and transport the perishable food products from the hilly region of the North East and the Tribal areas.
