- Goa has procured its first-ever greenfield International Airport which spreads across 68000 sq m and has capacity to handle 12000 passengers per day (built by GMR Group)

- It will cater to 44 lakh passengers per year in the first phase with an ultimate capacity to handle 3.3 crore passengers per year
