How to get Pilot Computer Number?
Step 1: Mark-sheets Verification – Mark sheet verification is first step for the process. Candidate has to apply to his/her concerned education Board or University to obtain Verification Certificate with respect to 10th and 10+2 Standard Mark sheets before applying for allotment of Computer Number. Candidate may obtain the Verification personally or request the Board / University to send the same to Director of Airworthiness, CEO, O/o DGCA, East Block – III, R K Puram, New Delhi – 110066.
Step 2: Online Application – After getting the verification work done one needs to fill online application for allotment of computer number at link : http://udaan.nic.in:8080/udaan/
In case, the candidate personally collects the verification, he/she should send attested copy of the Verification along with his application for allotment of Computer Number. Attestation must be done by gazetted officer. In case the Board / University intends to forward the verification to CEO directly, the candidate has to submit the evidence such as application acknowledgement received from the board and / or the challan copy for having submitted the fee to the board / university along with the application for allotment of Computer Number.
