Carver Aviation offers advanced technology learning facilities on Pilot Training and Aircraft Maintenance. Carver Aviation has got an ISO 9001-2008 certification and is DGCA approved. The academy is located in Baramati in Maharashtra. The campus of Carver Aviation is spread across an area of 3,96,000 sq. ft. and has over 17 aircraft in their fleet.

Carver Aviation aims to produce an optimum blend of aircraft manipulative skills, academic application leadership, command control and knowledge of Aviation to help make you a successful pilot.


Carver Aviation provides four basic services which are:-

  • Pilot Training
  • AMC Training
  • Aircraft Maintenance Division
  • Engineering Works

Carver Aviation Aircraft Fleet

Carver Aviation has a variety of single and multi-engine aircraft in their fleet. There are a total of 17 aircrafts in their fleet. The CEESNA 152 and 172 are the most widely used aircraft for Commercial Pilot Training.

All Carver Aviation Aircraft and instruments are rated as per DGCA requirements. Below is the entire fleet of Carver Aviation.

Courses Offered by Carver Aviation

Carver Aviation offers a wide variety of courses which are divided into two types of trainings:-

Pilot Training

There are different types of courses that come under Pilot training

  • Student Pilots License (SPL)
  • Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
  • Instrument Rating (I/R)

AML Training

There is only one courses that comes under AML training

  • Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License (BAMEL)

SPL (Student Pilot License)

This license is issued to the students who fly solo in the aircraft, or we can say without the help of any individual.

There are some pre requirements that should be fulfilled before entering the course:-

  • The student has to provide the age proof by submitting a School leaving certificate or Birth certificate or a passport
  • The student must have passed 10th standard, proof of the same along with school leaving certificate should be submitted
  • The student must be examined by a passing a medical test which will be undertaken by D.G.C.A. approved doctor

The final exam of the program will be conducted by Chief Flying Instructor of the Carver Aviation Academy along with an official from DGCA. The test will be conducted from the basic aviation notes that are being distributed to the students during their course.


PPL (Private Pilot License)

Private Pilot License is the license provided to those who consider flying as a hobby, but still if you want to fly on this hobby you need to grab your Private Pilot license.

There are some pre requirements that should be fulfilled before entering the course:-

  • The student has to provide the age proof by submitting a School leaving certificate or Birth certificate or a passport
  • The student must have passed 10th standard, proof of the same along with school leaving certificate should be submitted
  • The student must be examined by a passing a medical test which will be undertaken by D.G.C.A. approved doctor
  • The candidate must be 17 years of age at the time he has taken admission in the academy

Various subjects like Meteorology, Regulations, Navigation, Aircraft general, Aircraft specific and Flight Radio Telephony Operators License (FRTOL) will be studied and one has to pass all these subjects to get the PPL.

40 hours of flying training will be covered in the course as per Government syllabus.


CPL (Commercial Pilot License)

Commercial Pilot License is the license which will help you in making a professional pilot and getting placed in good airlines.

There are some pre requirements that should be fulfilled before entering the course:-

  • The student has to provide the age proof by submitting a School leaving certificate or Birth certificate or a passport
  • The student must have passed 12th standard with Math and Physics as subjects, proof of the same along with school leaving certificate should be submitted
  • The student must be examined by a passing a medical test which will be undertaken by D.G.C.A. approved doctor
  • The candidate must be of 18 years of age at the time he has taken admission in the academy

Various subjects like Meteorology, Regulations, Navigation, Aircraft general, Aircraft specific and Radio Telephony Restricted (RTR) will be studied and one has to pass all these subjects to get the CPL.

200 hours of flying training will be covered in the course as per Government syllabus.


I/R (Instrument Rating)

Instrument Rating will help a pilot to get qualified to fly under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). Additional training and instructions will be provided beyond PPL and CPL which will help you acquire an Instrument Rating.

The students will spend 40 hours of Instrument Flight Time out of which 20 hours will be done on an Approved Synthetic Trainer.


Basic Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License

This course will help you in gaining information and knowing the maintenance of your aircraft. The course is for the duration of 3 years which is divided into 6 semesters.

  • Students will get both classroom and practical training in this course
  • Well maintained classrooms are there in the campus which will help you in better understanding of the subject
  • 50 % of the entire training is covered in practical training
  • Highly developed workshops and laboratories are developed which will help you to learn how to maintain different aircrafts
  • The students must be passed in 10+2 with Math and Physics as the subjects
  • The minimum age for the course is 16 years whereas the maximum age is 24 years
