CAA Fleet

Chimes Aviation Academy has the largest and latest fleet of the new Cessna 172R Aircraft with GARMIN 1000 glass cockpit fitted. Most of the academies in India use very old versions of Cessna 152 and 172 training aircraft but Chimes Aviation Academy is one step ahead of them, which ensures lesser downtime and continuous availability of aircraft for completion of course in time.

Twin Multi-Engine Aircraft:- Apart from Cessna 172R Aircraft CAA also has twin multi-engine aircraft. Trainees are trained in Piper Seneca PA-34 Aircraft for Commercial Pilot License.

CPL (Commercial Pilot License)

CPL Meaning Commercial Pilot License is a program which will help you getting a secure job in airline/aviation sector or help in becoming a flying instructor.

Some Details about the Course:-

• The duration of the program is 12 months approx.
• The program will include Ground studies, Flying Training, Simulator and a DGCA examination
• The batch size will be of 25 students
• There will be 4 semesters each compromising of 3 months

Where, First semester will include Basic Aircraft knowledge and approximately 15 hours of flying

Second semester will include completion of 55 hours or more and DGCA exam clearance

Third semester will include completion of 100 hours and

Fourth semester will include completion of 200 hours including 20 hours training on multi engine

• A student will spend 180 hours on single engine CEESNA-172 Aircraft fitted with Garmin 1000
• 20 hours will be spent on multi engine aircraft
• 20 hours will be spent on ground simulator with 120 degrees field of view
• 500 hours will be spent on Ground Studies
• All the students must have been 10+2 qualified with Math and Physics as subjects and must be 17 years of age while joining the academy

PPL (Private Pilot License)

This course matches the people who consider flying airplanes as there hobby, who can rent aircrafts form the people who actually own them.

Some Details about the course:-

• The duration of the program is 6 months approx.
• The program will include Ground studies, Flying Training, Simulator and a DGCA examination
• The batch size will be kept as per availability
• There will be only two semesters in the course each of 3 months and will include

First semester will include basic aircraft knowledge and approximately 15 hours of aircraft training

Second semester will include completion of 55 hours or more and DGCA exam clearance

• A student will spend 55 hours on CESSNA 172 glass cockpit aircraft
• 5 hours will be spent on flight simulator with glass cockpit with 120 degree visual display on it
• 250 hours will be spent on ground studies
• All the students must have completed their 10^th standards and must be 17 years of age while joining the academy

Cruiser

Cruises is a program launched by Chimes Aviation Academy for busy executives with passion of flying. It is just another kind of Pilot Private License course but it is completed in a very short time of span i.e. you will become a cruiser, holding a PPL in only 9 weekends. The entire program is conducted as per DGCA rules, regulations and guidelines and safety is also kept in mind.

Instructors Rating – Assistant flying Instructor or Flying Instructor Rating

If you want to develop a carrier in aviation training as a flying instructor, you are in need of this program.  You should already hold a Commercial Pilot License and must be 18 years of age for this program. The course includes Ground studies, flying training and flight tests will be conducted as per DGCA syllabus. The student will spend 10 hours of patter flying. Also, ground studies will be conducted as per DGCA syllabus.

License Renewal

This program is for those people who already hold PPL or CPL. If your flying license has expired then refresher courses will be provided to you and additional flying and tests will be conducted which will help you to get your license renewed.

License Conversion

This program is for those people who already hold a foreign Commercial Pilot License and want their license to be converted into a Indian Commercial Pilot License. The duration of the program is only 1-2 weeks which will include ground studies, flying training, flying tests and flight simulators.

Chimes Flying Program

This course is specially developed for those students who have a Students Pilot License (SPL) or a Private Pilot License (PPL) but were not able to complete the flight hours required in flying training for Commercial Pilot License. You get the option to add ground studies, flight simulator, instrument rating and multi-engine rating as separate programmes apart from single engine flying. A particular time period is given for the completion of the course.

Some Details of the course:-

• General Flying will be done on CESSNA 172 Glass cockpit aircraft and the number of hours will be defendant on the student
• Cross Country Flying will be done on CESSNA 172 Glass cockpit aircraft and the number of hours will be defendant on the student
• Instrument Flying will be done on CESSNA 172 Glass cockpit aircraft and the number of hours will be defendant on the student
• Flight Simulator will be done on glass cockpit with 120 degrees visual display and and the number of hours will be defendant on the student
