MINIMUM IDLE THRUST
- It is selected on ground when reverse is not selected
- It is selected in flight when the landing gear is retracted and aircraft is not in CONF 3 or FULL
- It is regulated according to bleed system demand and ambient conditions.
APPROACH IDLE THRUST
- It is selected in flight when the landing gear is down OR aircraft is in CONF 3 or FULL.
- It allows engine to accelerate rapidly from idle to go-around thrust.
- It is regulated according to bleed system demand, ambient conditions and aircraft altitude.
REVERSE IDLE THRUST
- It is selected on ground, when the thrust lever is in REV IDLE position.
- It is slightly higher than forward idle thrust.
