The yaw bar is displayed on the PFD (Primary Flight Display) when the aircraft is below 30 feet radio height and a localizer signal is available. It replaces the roll bar under the following conditions:
- Takeoff In ‘RWY’ mode.
- Landing In ‘FLARE’ and ‘ROLLOUT’ modes.
The yaw bar provides guidance to maintain the runway centreline during these critical phases of flight.
